USA.gov offers information on how to obtain a government grant or loan.

Grants.gov allows you to search for different Federal grants. 

Foundation Center provides lists of current Requests for Proposals (RFPs) available, with the option to subscribe to receive the listing as an e-newsletter.

Foundation Directory  (If you want to pay for an online grant database) Candid’s Foundation Directory gives you access to the information you need to be smart and strategic with your funding requests. The tools available on Foundation Directory allow you to tap funding opportunities beyond open Requests for Proposals (RFPS) that make up less than 1% of total foundation funding. Digging deeper is critical to your fundraising success

Candid Learning is not an online tool that is very useful for enhancing any type of grant writing skill set. Candid has all different kinds of online trainings that can help you improve your grant writing abilities. The cost for these training ranges from free to around $800 and they usually email you discounts when you subscribe to their website. 

GrantWatch allows you to access the latest 990 Foundation Reports. You can also see the foundation's assets, mission statement, number of awards given, recipients of awards, and the purpose and amount of each award. Use this information to get a snapshot of the funders financial health, determine how much to request, and assess your chances of being funded. 

Philanthropy News Digest publishes Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and notices of awards as a free service for U.S.-based nonprofit and grant making organizations.

The Chronicle of Philanthropy connects you with sources of financial support. You do have to subscribe to this online platform to get full access to GrantStation’s extensive and regularly updated information about private and government funds that can help your organization advance its mission.
